We know that one third of Marko Ahtisaari’s time is spent on developing a tablet. Nokia’s head of design confirmed the company is working on one and our (and everyone else’s) bet goes to Windows 8. However, Lenovo seems to also have big plans regarding Microsoft’s platform.
According to reports, Lenovo is internally planning to be the first company to bring a Windows 8-based tablet to the martket, ant the company believes that the OS will be shipping in October. There are no other details at the moment except for the fact that it will most probably be powered by an Intel chip. Aside from Lenovo, companies like Dell, HP, Nokia and Asus will also most probably try their best with Windows 8 in a tablet/slate/convertible form so we’re looking at an exciting Q4.
