Two new unbranded, leaked ROMs were posted today at XDA, bringing the number of HTC devices capable of running WP7’s official NoDo update to three. The HTC Trophy and HD7 join the HTC 7 Mozart in running Microsoft’s latest version of WP7.
Both leaked ROMs are unbranded european versions, lacking any carrier customizations. T-Mobile or o2 HD7 owners wanting to apply the update must flash it using the “Gold Card” method to bypass device ID checking. The NoDo version in these ROMs is build 7355-89, the same build as the recent Mozart 7 leak. Available languages are German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish. NoDo’s major features include copy-and-paste support, and also bring a number of performance improvements to the overall system.
As expected, the ChevronWP7 unlocker does not work with the NoDo release, leaving WP7’s latest release without a functioning jailbreak solution. Microsoft has been in talks with jailbreak developers over official homebrew support, but there has yet to be any release or announcement regarding this.
