Despite early enthusiasm by smartphone maker HTC in bringing th Sense UI to Windows Phone 7, company head Peter Chou had gone on record with Fierce Wireless to say that the company won’t have HTC Sense in time for Windows Phone 7′s launch. Chou’s comments are a bit puzzling considering that we’ve been seeing some Sense leaks for Windows Phone 7 recently, both in pictures and videos. However, given Chou’s comments, perhaps HTC hasn’t optimized HTC Sense to the point where the company would be satisfied with a consumer release and the company doesn’t want to rush it out for Microsoft’s forthcoming OS launch, which is speculated to happen in the next month or so. Additionally, Chou also mentions that the company’s first LTE smartphone will be made available in 2011.
