Earlier this week we’ve seen LG deliver its “tethering” update to Optimus 7 wave-one Windows Phones proving that the hardware capabilities are there and just need to be enabled. On a similar note, HTC is reportedly rolling out an Internet Sharing update for the HTC Mozart.
The region for the roll-out seems to be India, according to reports, and it adds that certain “Internet Sharing” option in the Settings page, allowing you to turn your Windows Phone in a portable hotspot. In contrast, there were some Mozart updates that did not include the tethering functionality and all this seems to be depending on the specific carrier and whether it allows for hotspot features or not.
