It’s always good to have software updates for current hardware because you know that on one hand, your OEM and/or carrier are still supporting your device and on the other hand, new functionality is added and/or bugs are ironed out.
The HTC HD7, HTC Mozart and the Samsung Focus all recently got software updates. While the update for the first two phones is available in certain European regions, the Samsung Focus is of course an American phone and U.S. users should receive the notification. What’s in the package? According to reports, it’s Internet Sharing for all your tethering needs. Let us know if you’ve got it, with details on where you are and your carrier.
On the other hand, the wave-two HTC Titan also got an update. The new firmware version is 1600.2200.10902.401 and includes a new bootloader with 1.9.160015.3(132193) numbers. It’s not quite certain what’s included as the changelog is, as usual, missing, but according to reports, it should improve WiFi reception.
