Australian carrier Telstra announced joining up with Microsoft and HTC today for bringing the HTC HD7 Windows Phone exclusively to its line-up.
“HTC HD7 arrives at a time when Aussies are increasingly turning to their smartphones for entertainment and gaming” said Andrew Volard, Director, Telstra Mobility Products. With its 4.3-inch display, the HTC HD7 will be a great choice for RRP $768 (repayable over 24 months when purchased in conjunction with a Consumer Telstra Next G Cap plan or a Telstra Business Mobile PLUS Plan) once it will be available on March 29.
Regardless if it will feature the new Super LCD screen to be found on the AT&T HTC HD7S or the regular TFT LCD on some unlocked HD7 devices and T-Mobile HD7 — the Telstra HD7 will sport the same 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, operated by Windows Phone 7 with access to Marketplace, Xbox Live and Zune.
