HTC’s upcoming HD7 — successor to the HD2 and possible branding for the Schubert codename — is becoming less mysterious by the day, with a new crop of pictures, specs, and even a video to give potential customers the best look at this Windows Phone 7 handset yet. Unfortunately it’s looking more and more like that less-than-thrilling spec sheet is the real deal, with the standard 1GHz CPU / 4.3-inch WVGA display / 8.5GB non-upgradable storage / five-megapixel camera package once again showing up in a German training manual.

On the plus side, we get a better look at that handy kickstand, a size comparison with the ubiquitous Galaxy S, and some indication that the Dolby Mobile Sound is more feature than gimmick. Also clearly visible is the HTC Sense Hub, giving hope to those who were distressed over the reported lack of this popular customization on HTC’s WP7 launch devices.
