There are at least two types of HTC HD2 owners: those who are satisfied with the on-screen keyboard and, well, those who are not! Yes: the picture above is a screenshot of an HTC HD2. No: the text wasn’t entered blind folded. Yes: I’ve been to school (even though English is not my first language).
There’s lately been a lot of buzz around an (allegedly) improved HTC HD2 keyboard. The owner of the work (hats off!) has taken each and every key of the keyboard and repositioned and resized it to offer a better functionality. The idea behind this came from the iPhone keyboard where the keys are further apart from each other. The same way, this “new” HD2 keyboard has a slightly different arrangement for the keys in order to improve the typing experience and hopefuly reduce typos.
The initial text would have been: “Testing the new keyboard downloaded from Xda Developers. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog”.
Well, we didn’t find it to be so out of the ordinary (while, again, still hats off for the work) but then again, I might just have big fingers which got used to the stock keyboard. And you? What do you think about this modded keyboard as opposed to the stock one?
