Recently a photo of a GSM version of the 7 Pro showed up on TheUnwired, granting hope to the many GSM subscribers that were hoping to get their hands on the svelte Touch Pro2-like slider, which runs on Windows Phone 7. Now, said GSM subscribers can feel more confident that the 7 Pro GSM will come to fruition as HTC has posted a specification page on their website showing the new device. Sure enough, the 3G bands are 900/2100, meaning that USA users won’t be able to get high speed data on the device. But hey, EDGE data isn’t so bad, is it? Despite the page being live, HTC hasn’t officially announced this device with a press release or video, so we’ll keep our ear to the ground for that.
