Facebook for Windows Phone, the official application, in case you need it outside your Me Tile and People Hub, will receive a significant update today, boosting the version numbers all the way to 2.3.
It’s been quite some time since the last application refresh but the new version, to be rolled out later today, will bring some welcome changes. There will be News feed performance improvements, a new panorama design, a new profile design, banner images, improved navigation, support for Pages and Groups, the ability to view “likes” and filter the feed, setting post privacy as well as some bug fixes. Check your Marketplace application for an update notification today or follow the source link to grab the new version once it’s available.
