Back on February 19th, something weird happened with many Windows Phone 7s. Pinned contacts dissappeared from the start screen. In most cases, people will pin their favorite contact right at the top of their start screen, and usually it’s a spouse. The natural reaction would be to think that they don’t love you anymore, but in reality we’re guessing this is a bug in how Windows Phone 7 connects to a cloud service… most likely Windows Live. We’ve also seen reports of linked contacts becoming unlinked.

It’s been a week since this was reported to Microsoft, but we haven’t heard anything about why it happened. Did your pinned contacts dissappear last week around the evening of February 19th or any other day? Are the contacts that disappeared in your Windows Live account?
