Dell Venue Pro Update Rolling Out for Unlocked and T-Mobile Users

The Dell Venue Pro is a great Windows Phone but is unfortunately plagued by some issues out of which the WiFi problem being the most serious. A month ago we heard that the update should be out soon and more details emerged and now it appears to be rolling out.

According to Dell’s Lionel Menchaca, the update for the Venue Pro “starts rolling out today for T-Mobile customers in the US + all other customers outside the US”. Its purpose is to fix to WiFi — and other — problems users are experiencing with the handset (in a similar manner to the LG Optimus 7, Samsung Omnia 7 and HTC Mozart getting device-specific updates).

The Dell Venue Pro is also available on AT&T but unfortunately there’s no information regarding the update for these users. Looks like they’ll have to put up with the issues for a little longer!
