Many have shown concern about the Dell Venue Pro not having accessible memory slot or replaceable microSD card upon getting their hands on the scarcely available device and we also posted about the handset with its back cover taken off to uncover no access to an expansion slot.
Turns out the Dell Venue Pro has indeed a microSD card in an expansion slot but it looks like any tampering will immediately void your warranty as the card is hidden behind the “Warranty Void” sticker next to the SIM card slot. You can access and of course replace the card but you will do that by accepting the fact that you will void your warranty – and we don’t recommend that. But at least Dell’s approach is somewhat similar to Samsung’s with the Focus and the card is not hidden deep behind plastic and electronics like the case of other manufacturers.
