We’d heard that Dell’s Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 would be hitting the UK before the end of the year, and now that window has apparently been narrowed down to a single day: November 8th. That’s when popular UK e-tailer Clove will reportedly receive stock of this anticipated model, better known to Americans as Windows Phone 7 device release day in the US. Pricing for the unlocked handset is 375 pounds (~$590), and 440 pounds (~$692) after tax.
Interestingly, Clove does not list a storage capacity — thought to be 8GB — for the 1GHz device, although the rest of the spec sheet shows the 512MB of RAM, 4.1-inch OLED, and five-megapixel camera we’ve known since launch day. With Europeans already getting the short end of the stick, storage-wise, in the HTC HD7′s 8GB capacity (half that of the US and Asia-Pacific versions), this has become an issue of some contention on the Continent. However, with Chassis 1 specifications seemingly requiring at least 8GB internal storage, we can probably assume that customers should expect at least that amount.
