The Dell Venue Pro could have probably been the most popular Windows Phone if there were no hardware and launch related glitches but still got a 4.5 out of 5 in our review which is among the best scores for a Windows Phone yet.
If initially the 16GB variant went for $500 without a contract, Dell is now selling the phone for $299.99 with no commitment. We’re not sure whether Dell is trying to boost sales or just trying to get rid of units on stock since it wasn’t part of the Windows Phone 7 Mango partner OEMs. Regardless, the Venue Pro is a nice phone to have and $300 for an unlocked version is a great deal.
If you prefer to sign a two-year contract then the Venue Pro options are: $0.99 for the 8GB version, $49.99 for 16GB and $99.99 for the 32GB variant. Still great prices and don’t forget Dell should push out the update to fix some issues any time now.
