While ROM extraordinaire Conflipper may be temporarily–we hope–retiring for now, he is not leaving quietly. The master of HTC ROMs has posted, via Twitter, a list of HTC product names, some of which are speculated to be part of Windows Phone 7. It looks like among the product names, HTC may be going with a ballroom dance theme–perhaps Dancing with the HTC Stars? Those include the HTC Tango, HTC Salsa, and HTC Swing.
While Conflipper seems to be guessing that the Salsa is going with Windows Phone 7, a previous leak shows the device could be running Android.
Other names in the list include the HTC Motion, HTC Maestro, HTC Blitz, HTC Sage, and HTC Vienna. The Maestro may be destined for CDMA carriers as it will be a hybrid CDMA/GSM phone, much like the Sprint and Verizon Wireless editions of the Touch Pro2.
Looks like HTC will be having another stellar lineup.
Another Windows Phone 7 codename that leaked earlier this summer is the HTC Mozart, pictured below.
