October 22 – 24, 2012 is the time; San Francisco, CA is the place; Windows Phone is what it seems to be all about as BZ Media announced the Windows Phone Developer Conference, “the first major independent event for software developers 100% focused on the emerging Windows Phone mobile software market”.
WPDevCon joins AnDevCon (the Android Development Conference) and iPhone/iPad DevCon (focused on Apple’s iOS). There will be workshops and even an exhibition hall, with more than 500 software developers expected to join more than 30 exhibitors and sponsors. There will be three sections at WPDevCon: WP Essentials (aimed at all developers, covering all programming topics), WP Enterprise (building and managing apps for employees, business customers and partners) and WP Marketing (business-oriented sessions covering Windows Phone marketplace, including app marketing and distribution).
