Mobile banking has grown a lot in popularity since the early days of the PDA. Today we’ve got the new Bank of America app for Windows Phone 7 which lets you check balances, transfer money, pay bills, and search for ATMs or bank locations. You’ve probably seen plenty of other apps like this on other mobile platforms, but it’s good to see them coming to Windows Phone as well. Unfortunately you can’t do the whole mobile check depositing thing where you take a picture of both sides of a check with your phone and it magically gets deposited into your bank account. Those kinds of things will probably have to wait for Mango before being possible on Windows Phone 7.
