Ok so, if the rumors of Japanese carrier AU’s plans to launch the Fujitsu-Toshiba IS12T on August 25th are true, then not only is a new smartphone getting launched. If you remember, this IS12T is planed to be the first Windows Phone to be launched with Mango this year, so call this an official way to leak one of the most anticipated dates of the year.
AU has begun taking reservations for the device, and the planned delivery date for those buying it in advanced is August 25th, so everything does seem to point out to that specific date correctly. Surely a lot can happen between now and that date, but with so much speculation as to which is the real release date for Mango, this would actually be the first time we have something concrete on what to expect.
