AT&T was announced as the Windows Phone 7 Premier Carrier back last year before the platform launch and the carrier is definitely taking this seriously with the largest Windows Phone line-up among U.S. carriers.
Determined to maintain that status of “premier carrier”, rumor has it AT&T is sending out representatives to Best Buy locations in order to test the retailer’s personnel from the Windows Phone 7 point of view. In order for sales to go smoothly, sales people need to know key features of a platform and phone and AT&T is willing to test Best Buy personnel’s knowledge in a session of verbal inquiries. The information was disclosed by an anonymous source that also said that the quiz winner gets a free Windows Phone from AT&T.
