The HTC HD7S, AT&T’s own HTC HD7 with an S-LCD screen, was going to receive its Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update mid-October, according to reports that were right on the rest of the Windows Phones on the carrier.

Turns out that AT&T is really proving to be the “premier” carrier for the Redmond platform as the Mango update for the HTC HD7S is reportedly rolling out and hitting devices. This is good news both for the carrier and for Microsoft as AT&T Windows Phones (Samsung Focus, LG Quantum, HTC HD7S and HTC Surround) are being updated starting day one.
