We know that both the pre-NoDo as well as the NoDo update for Windows Phone 7 is about to begin hitting AT&T devices in a couple of days and Microsoft’s Eric Hautala lets us know the updates will also contain some special features.
The AT&T Windows Phone 7 updates will contains two special features, one of which is the neat WISPr support allowing devices to automatically switch to AT&T hotspots when available. The second will offer smartphones support for the AT&T Address Book.
On a general note concerning updates which we know not only contain Microsoft code but third-party codes too, Hautala informs us that one specific such third-party code for the HTC Surround needs more testing and will likely cause a delay opposed to the LG Quantum and AT&T Focus.
