Here we have Berenberg Bank’s Adnaan Ahmad (head of technology equity research) with some big recommendations for Microsoft and Nokia to work together on Windows Phone 7. The memo is addressed directly to Nokia CEO Stephen Elop and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and gives many reasons why some kind of partnership would be very beneficial. The note even explains why Nokia concentrating on their Meego platform or switching to Android would be bad ideas.
The whole “Nokia using Windows Phone 7″ rumor thing reminds me a lot of how fact follows fiction. Back in 2003-2007, people constantly talked about Apple creating a mobile phone. People were always creating fake mock-ups and pretending they might be real someday. Then in the passed 3 years after they got a real iPhone, the fiction blogs turned to the Verizon iPhone which is just now coming true.
So maybe if we talk about Windows Phone 7 on Nokia hardware long and hard enough, it will become true! What do you think?
