Yesterday we’ve told you about seven great features of the upcoming Mango platform refresh for Windows Phone 7 and the Live Tiles were part of those improvements hitting devices towards the end of this year.

Windows Phone Program Manager Thomas Fennel makes a presentation at MIX11 regarding the Live Tiles and Notifications in the below video which will be part of the developer tools coming next month as well as Mango in the future. Among the cool things are Deep Toast which takes you directly to the notification instead of opening the app, Multi-tiles for the same application that can now have several tiles, Tile Flip to expose a back image upon a notification and more.
