There’s a Facebook application configured exclusively for Windows Phone 7 as we learn from Long Zheng, which is currently listing 3,076 monthly active users on its stats page.

We know that Microsoft has been giving out Demo Devices to developers and members of the press as well as awarded some contest winners with a device or two, but we now have a rough estimate on the number of devices that got out, and there’s still more to come. Given that the number 3,076 represents unique users, this means that there’s a pretty high amount invested in this project in order to support developers and to promote the platform.

Bear in mind that these devices, according to what we know so far, are prototypes and will not be available for purchase.
