French carrier SFR is dropping hints that Palm, which was acquired by HP, will be launching the next generation Palm Pre 2, which will run on webOS 2.0.
The Pre 2 is said to have a flatter screen rather than the curved and bulbous screen on the current generation device, and will have a more refined design. Also, in terms of hardware, the Pre 2 will have an improved processor, said to clock in at 1 GHz, along with 512 MB memory, which I think may indicate RAM memory rather than storage memory.
SFR is touting the new webOS 2.0 as more intuitive and faster.
