Code from a Palm Pre 2 recovery ROM may have revealed the codenames of several upcoming webOS devices, according to pre|central. The information was supposedly uncovered by webOS Internals member Destinal, who scoured the so-called webOS Doctor from French carrier SFR, which is reportedly the image used to restore a device on the platform. Besides “Roadrunner,” which is the pre-release name given to the Pre 2, the code also supposedly mentions a “Broadway,” “Windsor,” “Mantaray,” and “Stingray.” Pre|central reports that Broadway may refer to the rumored Pixi 2, but that none of these other names have been referenced before. Also noticeably absent is a mention of the “Mansion,” which was rumored to be high-resolution touchscreen slate lacking a QWERTY keyboard.
