Xperia X2 Tilewave/Pixel City Panels Extracted & Running on X1

The unique panels on the Xperia X2 have been extracted and, like the Experiment 13 game, they are now making their rounds on X1 devices. The video below shows the mesmerizing Tilewave panel in action on one user’s X1. He takes us on a tour of the weather, calculator and RSS feed features. You can also clearly see that he has the Pixel City panel loaded (CityNight/Day). The panel manager appears to have been ripped as well. Of course, not everything is working, but it’s causing a lot of excitement over on XDA-developers. If you’re interested, check out the Xperia X2 ROM dump thread for more information. Hopefully, we’ll find out soon if these panels will work on the ported panel system from the other week.
