WM6.5 to Support Multiple Start Menu Layouts

The upcoming version of Windows Mobile, that is the highly anticipated WM6.5 will offer the possiblity of customizing the Start Menu.

We all have a good hunch by know how the Start Menu will on the final release of WM6.5, with the icon arrangement, after Microsoft dumping the honeycomb (the arrangement remains) but XDA Developers found a way to display the Start Menu as a list, where each entry is displayed on top of the other, with the possiblity of scrolling through the items.

Users already running custom ROMs (which we do not recommend) based on early Windows Mobile 6.5 leaks can test the new layout for QVGA and VGA resolution over at XDA Developers.
