Two Good Outlook Tips

File under: News

Since most of us that use Pocket Outlook also use desktop Outlook, we thought we'd share two good tips to help you manage your info while using this program.

1. Add holidays to your calendar and never miss another opportunity to sleep in late. To do this, go to Tools, Options, Calendar Options, and click Add Holidays. You can specify for which country you'd like to show holidays.

2. Open Calendar/Contacts/Tasks etc in its own window. Outlook does a great job at putting all of your data within one program, but to go from an email to your calendar requires you to go back to Outlook, and click Calendar. No more - just right click on any of those buttons in the bottom right corner (pictures), and hit Open in New Window. Then you can AlT+Tab between each component of Outlook.
