We’ve seen the videos of Touch Pro2 and it’s speakerphone on face down. XDA Developers bring similar functionality to the Touch Diamond, Touch Pro or Touch HD.
You’ll need Gyrator up and running to configure it as follows:
- tap on the soft key that says “Menu” and select Events
- a new window will pop up. Tap & Hold on the topmost item in the list, a menu will pop up
- select “Add Event”. A new entry -labled “New Rule”- will appear at the top of the list.
- tap & Hold on the item labled “New Rule” until a menu pops up where you select “Orientation”
- tap & Hold on the “New Rule” itemm, select “Edit Event”
- a new window will pop up and will have a number of tabs at the bottom.
- set application to Phone on the “Application” tab.
- on the “Orientation” tab check on “Portrait”, “Face-down”, and “Face-up”.
- on the “Actions” tab check on “Simulate Keypress”.
- go to “Advanced” tab and select key “F16,127″ which triggers the windows-native “Speakerphone Toggle event”.
