XDA Developers cover the lack of customization once again, providing a Windows Media Player Skin that follows the TouchFLO3D design of the HTC Touch Diamond/Touch Pro.

This is a VGA portrait version of the skin, so no HTC Touch HD supported. The overall feel is very clear; the buttons have been replaced by neat TouchFLO3D style buttons, so did the sliders for volume control and playback progress; Star Ratings have been also replaced with clear red dots.

You need to download the zip file attached to the post, decompress it to your PC and copy the contents to DeviceProgram FilesWindows Media Player, then launch Windows Media Player, go to Menu, Options, Skins, choose the Manila Portrait skin and tap OK.
