New TouchFLO 2D from HTC Mega Leaked

The TouchFLO 2D – aka Manila 2D – interface from the upcoming HTC Mega, a QVGA device to be launched, has been leaked and is available to download over at XDA Developers.

Can’t help to actually not notice the resemblence with HTC’s Android interface on the Hero, judging by the colors and the icons. Users who have downloaded report successfull installation and usage but unfortunately it is only QVGA (as native from device) and chances that it will be ported (upscaled) to higher resolutions, such as VGA or even WVGA are small, given the highly anticipated TouchFLO 3D v.2.5.

Download and install it to your device. It will work (even on custom – strikeout) on Windows Mobile 6.5 ROMs, and this enforces rumour that the HTC Mega will be released with 6.5 stock. A piece of advice (quote from the thread): “If you had any previous version of Manila, don’t forget to uninstall it and do soft reset before installing this version. Also keep in mind that it will keep your personal settings, like people tab photos, weather cities or launcher number of rows/clomuns.”

Edit: According to the thread, apparently it only supports Windows Mobile 6.5.
