The HD2 is the only Windows Mobile device that can do multitouch, but perhaps not for long. XDA user annadoul has come up with an SDK that allows a multitouch-like effect for Windows Mobile devices with resistive touchscreens. It works by using an anchor point with one finger, thus allowing a second finger to refine the zoom by sliding in and out. Although it’s not true multitouch, if implemented in Opera Mobile, photos, or other places in Windows Mobile, it could provide the benefits of multitouch by allowing for more precise zooming. To get the SDK, click on to XDA.
