For Sense 2.5 users who prefer to have a traditional list of programs for their Start menu, rather than the Windows Mobile 6.5 Start screen, a CAB file can be installed to make that happen. Once applied, pressing “Start” will open a manila style program launcher with a scrollable list of all your apps. Five of your most recently used programs are also listed along the bottom of this screen. The right soft key links to the settings tab in Sense and the left soft key will return you to the home screen. If youâre interested, get it from XDA-developers. You will need to soft reset after installing or removing this Start menu.
Note: the program launcher will only work while Sense is enabled, otherwise the WM6.5 menu will be called up. Check out Awesome Start if you want to turn the WM6.5 Start menu icons into list format.
