Wireless Draft N, or IEEE 802.11n-2009, improves network throughput over previous standards, such as 802.11b and 802.11g, with a significant increase in the maximum raw data rate from 54 Mbit/s to a maximum of 600 Mbit/s with the use of four spatial streams at a channel width of 40 MHz. Well, seems like there is an entry hidden in the HTC HD2′s Registry that proves that this device supports the latest Draft N Wireless standard. By going to HKLMCommBCMSDDHD1Parms and changing the value of 11nModeDisable from the default 1 to 0 will activate this support which seems to be disabled by default. And if you need proof, XDA user says: “Have an 802.11N only AP and it can connect to it! Nice!”. Yes, nice!
