How to Remove Transparent Dialer Curtain

If you have an HTC HD2 or another device running a custom ROM based on the latest Leo OS and OEM files, you might have noticed that, while in a call, the buttons are protected from accidental key presses by a transparent curtain.

While I find it very useful against accidental key presses, there might be some who find it annoying. You can remove the courtain by a simple registry hack by going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREHTCPHONE and editing the value of “EnableSlideCover” to dword:00000000, which means disabled. In case you don’t have that key but you have the new dialer, just create it. After soft reset it should be gone.

Edit: There’s a CAB now that does it automatically, just be sure you have an HD2 or you have this dialer included in a custom ROM.
