In my review of the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2, I was a bit disappointed in the conference calling capabilities. Mainly, I didn’t like the fact that it was limited to only calling 2 people! That’s not much of a conference call. More like a ménage a trois.
Anyway, if you fire up a registry editor, then navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareHTCPHONE
Then open the key named: “MaxConferenceSize”
By default it’s set to 2, and that’s where you’re limited. I changed it to 6 since that’s what I believe the real limit is for conference calls on T-Mobile. After a soft-reset, you’ll be able to set up a conference room with up to 6 people.
