How to Change the Size of the New HTC Menus

New HTC ROMs coming on fresh devices, custom ROMs for older ones based on the new ROMs from HTC as well as HTC Menu Enhancements installed on new builds have a new way of displaying soft menus, called HTC Menus. You can customize the looks of HTC Menus, namely the size of the text which fits on one screen. Read on for the details.

XDA Developers allow you to customize HTC Menus to your liking and easier access, as some soft menus have more commands than others, needing you to scroll in order to display/access all of them.

First you have to check whether your device has HTC Menus version 1.0 or 1.1 (it’s easy to spot it, if it features the scroll bar then it’s 1.1). From there on, you only need to device what size you want your menu text to be (how much information is displayed at once). For HTC Menus 1.0, you can choose from Stock, Medium, Small and ExtraSmall while 1.1 supports Stock, Small and ExtraSmall. Download and install the cab of your choice, Soft Reset and you’re good to go! Revert to Stock by uninstalling the cab.

(Thanks for the tip hvoltage)
