HD2 Getting XDA Developers Unofficial Service Pack

Some say “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”. XDA Developers say there’s always a way to make things better. The HTC HD2 receives an unofficial Service Pack from XDA Developers addressing some issue, fixes ar adds.

The Service Pack does the following:

Tweaks:

- Sounds disabled on keypress phonepad

- Enable LED Notification Setting in Sound and Notifications (New Message, New E-Mail, Missed Call, Voicemail)

- Security policy installing uncertified apps disabled

- Ringtone is set to ‘Ring01-WindowsPhone .wma’

- Fixed Camera tweak and enabled GPS picture and Videoshare

- HTC Album now realy closes on exit to save memory

- Sendkey now rotates the screen

- Haptic feedback disabled for longer battery live and more device speed

- Left softkey of Sense now opens Notepad

- grzegorz10 B4all Tabs

- Enables FM radio Deemphasis

- Opera allowed tabs set to 6 and haptic feedback enabled

Adds a Tools directory in Start MenuPrograms with the following tools:

- Capsure (screen capture utility)

- Enter bootloader (button skinned by InsecureSpike)

- eT9MyWords

- Navipanel

- KeePassPPC (very nice digital wallet to save your passwords or whatever)

- Notepad

- Rotate screen

- XDA shutdown (skin Peterbonge portrait and landscape)

- TaskMgr

- Add PHM registry editor and removed TRE (compatibility issue)

Places three shortcuts on Manila home first row:

- TaskMgr (now you can open en kill apps very easy!)

- MSN (yeah I use it a lot haha..)

- XDA Shutdown (button skinned by InsecureSpike)
