There are several hacks for HTC Sense 2.5, like the one to show extra appointments, which extend the amount of quick links on the home tab from 9 to either 16 or 20. This new hack, however, takes the cake. It doesn’t modify anything except the quick links, and in doing so, it expands them from 9 to a whopping 25 (5×5 grid). Having a shortage of shortcut slots shouldn’t be a problem any longer.

I should note that the expansion does alter another part of the links area. The text labels have been removed, leaving only icons, in order to make room for the extra shortcuts. Some users feel that the removal of text gives the grid a cleaner appearance nonetheless. The latest mod will work with Sense 2.5 (1921.1619 & 1922.2911) and comes in the form of an easily installable CAB file. It was recently released by the developer who created the original mod and is available at XDA-developers.
