From the developer of omniano – the band in your pocket, comes a preview of a currently unreleased but under heavy testing application that will serve as a digital compass only for the Samsung Omnia II. Watch the video of OMPASS in action after the break!

There are no details indicating whether this application will use normal GPS or special hardware inside the Omnia 2, but if you happen to own one, make sure to check back as we’ll report as soon as it hits.
