Adding The Wireless Today Screen Item

So here's an old one some of you might not know, and this is for those not using TouchFLO or some other UI replacement but the good old Windows Mobile Professional Today Screen.

You can add an additional Today Item, called Wireless, to your Today Screen, which will show you the current network and Operator name, Bluetooth and Wifi status and which is also tappable to bring up the CommManager. Read the rest to find out how!

You need to edit your registry as follows:
Create a new key called "Wireless" (with the quotes) in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\
Inside of that, create:
- a String called "DLL" (without the quotes) with its "netui.dll" (without the quotes)
- a DWord called "Order" (without the quotes) with value 00000000
- a DWord called "Enabled" (without the quotes) with value 00000000
- a DWord called "Type" (without the quotes) with value 00000004.

Close your Registry Editor, go straight to Start Menu, Settings, Personal, Today, Items, check to activate "Wireless" as a Today Item and return to the Today Screen to see it active.
