A YouTube Application for the Rest of Us

The YouTube application found on the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro is excellent - it is completely touch-friendly, can play back video in YouTube's high quality setting if you're on a fast network, and the interface is attractive.

But what about the rest of us with touchscreen Windows Mobile phones? While the guys at XDA-Devs have indeed extracted the files of the Diamond/Touch Pro's YouTube application, it still doesn't work on QVGA devices.

But fret no more, because a post over at PPCGeeks has a simple yet effective YouTube application that works well on QVGA touchscreen Windows Mobile devices, like the Verizon HTC Touch shown in this video. Just send the CAB over to your device, run it, and reboot. Here's a direct link to the download file.
