Why the iPhone Running Windows Mobile is Fake

Many are talking about the iPhone running Windows Mobile, and how it looks to be fake. The interaction between the developer and the reporter seems totally unnatural, and the whole thing looks staged.

But there are two other things that makes this fake. First, Windows Mobile doesn’t support the iPhone’s resolution. It would take some genius to get beyond that barrier.

Number two, and the most blatant reason why this demonstration isn’t real, is because the screen presses are not accurate, and the phone acts on its own. When he goes to open the calendar – he taps the Home button on the iPhone, seen below. Huh? Then he opens the Start menu, and a second later, it closes itself without him pressing any buttons, almost as if what we are seeing is some sort of animated GIF. That said, Windows Mobile on the iPhone would be cool – and we’d have the first WinMo handset with a capacitive screen.
