Toshiba’s innovative UMPC is still a concept at this stage and no pricing nor release details are available at present. However, the device, which looks somewhat like a shrunken down iMac with its “chin”–the large area beneath the display, utilizes some concepts from HTC’s smartphones, mainly the use of gestures to call up menus.
According to a video on MobilitySite, users can swipe their fingers from the left side to the center to pull up a quick launch menu application. Swiping the finger from the bottom up to the center will call up a soft input keyboard for typing.
