Toshiba Portege G910 In The House: Unboxing Video

This is an interesting device. It has a wide clamshell design that has a tilting screen inside. The 3″ primary display sports WVGA resolution which is 800×480 pixels – the highest that Windows Mobile supports. The only other devices that have this resolution is the Toshiba G900, and the upcoming Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1.

It has a secondary OLED display that shows caller ID, time, and other system indicators.

In the specs department, we have the commonly-used Qualcomm MSM7200 CPU running at 528MHz with 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, WiFi, GPS, and a fingerprint scanner. Powering it all is a 1320mAh battery. Unfortunately, it has Windows Mobile 6, and not 6.1.

The Portege G910 is a Europe-only triband GSM phone (with HSDPA). That means that you’re in the US, it’ll work on T-Mobile and AT&T, but you’ll only be able to get EDGE and GPRS data speeds, respectively. Much more to come.
