It’s seldom that we see a paradigm-shifting mobile device. We saw it with the StarTAC in the mid 90s… it was the first cell phone device to be attractive and pocketable. If you didn’t have one, you probably knew someone that did.
Motorola is playing off of the novelty behind the StarTAC by issuing a new version, dubbed the StarTAC III, which will be similar to its cousin in that it will be sleek, simple, and lightweight. Expect a QVGA screen (no external), integrated GPS, and a weight of just 92g.
