T-Mobile myFaves Working on an Unlocked AT&T Tilt

If you have an HTC TyTN II or an AT&T Tilt and want to use it on T-Mobile you can. With the AT&T Tilt, you must first SIM-unlock the device; details can be found here. The people over at XDA-Developers have a cab file to install on your device to load the myFaves application. There is also a long registry edit that is posted here that must be performed to get the application fully functional.

To edit the registry, you can use a program called Resco File Explorer or a freeware like Total Commander. A full review of Resco Explorer can be found here.

The application may be useful as a speed dial tool for non-T-Mobile users who want quick access to their contacts as an alternative to some of the programs out there.

T-Mobile launched the myFaves service to allow unlimited calls to any five numbers domestically, including calls to landlines and mobile phones.
