Sony Ericsson Enables Stylish Connectivity with Hip USB Modems

Sony Ericsson is releasing a multi-functional USB modem that sports tri-band HSPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity for world-wide use. The MD400 and MD400g differs in that the MD400G will add GPS functionality to your Windows or Mac notebook.
Both MD400 and MD400G will feature 7.2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speeds for fast downloads and uploads.
In addition, the USB modem will double as a reader for the M2 Memory Stick Micro.
Availability is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2008. Pricing was not announced. The modem will be available in either black or white.
